I want every appointment at Chars Lash Bar to feel easy, relaxed and completely focused on you. These policies help me stay on schedule, give every client the time she booked, and keep my business running smoothly.
Please arrive with clean lashes and no mascara. Makeup, oils, heavy skincare and buildup around the lash line can interfere with application and retention — and removing it takes away from the time reserved for your service.
If your lashes require extensive cleansing before I can start your service, a $10 additional cleaning fee will be added.
You have a 15-minute grace period. If you're running late, please text as soon as possible.
Appointments arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to be shortened or rescheduled depending on the service and time available. Arriving late does not automatically extend the appointment past the scheduled end time.
I genuinely hate charging cancellation fees. But when an appointment is reserved for you, that time can't always be filled at the last minute. These policies protect the time reserved for every client — including you.
No deposit is required to book. A valid card is kept on file through Square and may be used to enforce applicable cancellation or no-show policies.
Your card on file does not mean you have to pay for your service with that card.

A fill requires at least 40% of your extensions remaining. Fill timing is calculated from the date of your last appointment. Most clients return every 2–4 weeks depending on natural lash cycle, number of natural lashes, lifestyle, environment and aftercare.
Foreign fills are accepted on a case-by-case basis and require +$25 and +30 minutes. Existing extensions must be healthy, properly applied and something I'm comfortable safely working over.
Because of the length and precision of lash appointments, please avoid bringing additional guests unless they are able to comfortably and independently occupy themselves for the duration of your service. I need to be able to give your lashes my full attention without interruptions.
Lash extension clients must be 16+. Clients under 18 require parent or legal guardian consent before receiving lash services.
Wearing contacts is completely up to you. If your eyes are sensitive or you're more comfortable removing them, bring your case and glasses.
Sensitivities or allergic reactions to lash products can occur, even if you've worn extensions previously without an issue. If something seems genuinely unusual after your appointment, contact me.
Depending on the situation, removal may be appropriate and I can remove the extensions at no charge. Significant, persistent or worsening symptoms need to be evaluated by a qualified medical professional; I cannot diagnose or treat medical reactions.
I use professional products, proper application techniques and customize every set with natural lash health in mind. Once you leave, aftercare plays a major role in retention.
Follow the aftercare. Keep them clean. Don't pick or pull. Don't put mascara on them. And please don't do something I specifically told you not to do.
If something genuinely seems unusual, reach out. There is no blanket complimentary "fix" policy. Any adjustment, removal or next step will be determined based on the individual situation.
